Our first broilers attended freezer camp the weekend of August 24-25, 2019. Friends and family assisted with the processing and many made a full day out of it. Next year, we encourage you to enjoy your day in the country fishing, exploring and learning more about where your food comes from. We should also have fresh vegetables and, possibly, some honey available for purchase. Check our Broiler CSA program out to reserve your broilers and save.
Such a beautiful place. The owners are very warm and welcoming and we love visiting with them.

To Duane and Lynn,
We just finished dinner in which we had roasted a Ivy Brook Farms chicken. I wanted to share with you how moist, tender and delicious it truly was. I rate this as one of the best I've ever had. Thank you 😊

On our Broilers
"It was also one of the prettiest chickens cooked that I have ever seen. The bone was as white as a sheet of paper and the meat was incredible. I know you are my friends but I am telling you it is the best chicken I have ever processed to cook.

Our first batch of broilers were a great success. We dressed 89 broilers and sent them home to friends, family and customer freezers. We look forward to taking orders and doing it all over again in 2022.
Our Blueberry bushes were loaded last year. We also have wild blackberries all over the property. The blueberries will be ready late June through July 2022. Contact us if you would like to come pick some for yourself, or if you would like to arrange pick-up or local delivery.
Now and thru very early Summer 2022 we will offer CSA memberships for our pasture raised Broilers. Make sure you are signed up to receive our newsletter (on the home page) so you can take advantage of this cost saving partnership on the farm.
I asked a recent customer what she thought of the chicken? Her answer was “it was delicious, the best chicken I’ve ever tasted. I think that both the quality of the meat as well as the skill of the cook had something to do with that experience.😄
We will be offering whole or half CSA memberships to our friends, family and community. By joining the CSA, you will receive either 10 or 20 whole broiler chickens in October 2022
Our Spring newsletter will be going out in February detailing our CSA model and how to sign up.
A. The customer benefits by a locked in price per chicken. The actual weight of the chicken will likely be more than the discounted price per pound. The farmer benefits by growing his farm, gaining customers and gaining upfront capital to invest in the seasons production.
